Toronto’s Blazewun Releases Remix of “As The World Keeps Turning” Featuring Rene Daze, with Production by KNG Bondalero

Toronto hip-hop artist Blazewun has just unveiled a new remix of his reflective single “As The World Keeps Turning”, now featuring soulful vocals from Rene Daze and a reimagined beat by producer KNG Bondalero. The track officially hit streaming platforms on April 11, 2025.

The original version, released earlier this spring on March 22, was produced by Jay the Assassin and introduced listeners to Blazewun’s lyrical musings on the relentless flow of life. This remix builds on that foundation with a richer, more textured sound. KNG Bondalero’s fresh instrumental breathes new life into the track, while Rene Daze’s harmony-laced hook adds emotional depth and melodic finesse.

Blazewun—aka Steven Medeiros Cordeiro, hailing from Brampton—has long been known for his old-school-inspired sound and thoughtful lyricism. Beyond the mic, he’s been active in the film industry since 2011 and became a union member in 2016. These days, he balances his artistic pursuits with family life, raising five kids with his wife.

In true DIY fashion, Blazewun handled the engineering, mixing, and mastering of the remix himself—and also directed and edited the official music video, which is now live on YouTube.
