Rhymrcka Shows Off His Uncanny Ability To Spit Venom In "GET IT!" Video

Rhymrcka comes heavy after his latest triple-threat releases of "Autobiography,"  "Look Out Boy," and still shadowbanned "The Matrix." DCM ENT, WhoMag, and Sony Orchard present "GET IT!" The single/video produced by @pesopai223 is taken from Rhymrcka's forthcoming solo album.  The celebrated American Cream Team/Wutang Killah Bee affiliate comes through heavy with aggressively delivered in-your-face bars, intensified by gitty NY production that quakes the entire video. With mean-mugging expressions and raw emotion, Rhymrcaka paints a vivid canvas of his extreme 24/7 hustle and grind. Those intimidated will refer to him as a mercenary, however, he lives his life to get it. Whether that entails serving fans like feigns and packing arenas, shaking the underground and stomping through the concrete jungle, or catching flights across the globe; Rhymrcka's moves are unstoppable. Watch the video and connect below.    Stream “Get It!!” on preferr...

Declaime & Madlib Unearth “In the Beginning, Vol. 2” (Album Review)

This is the 13th full-length album from Oxnard veteran Declaime . Debuting on “WLIX” off Tha Alkaholiks ’ sophomore album  Coast II Coast  in 1995, it wouldn’t be until 2001 when Dudley Perkins started putting out albums under his own name by dropping  Andsoitisaid . But ahead of LMD’s long-awaited debut  Flying High  next weekend, he’s linking back up with childhood friend/longtime collaborator Madlib for a sequel to last summer’s  In the Beginning . “2MC ornot 2MC?” is an orchestral boom bap opener asking the titular question whereas “Bandwagon” takes a dustier route talking about how there’s more to him on the mic. The demo version of “WLIX” is something fresh for all the hardcore fans who’ve never heard it before & after the “Sensei Sound” interlude, “WunTwo” returns to the boom bap so he can flex his pen-game. Meanwhile on “As I Get Wild”, we have Declaime taking a rawer route challenging anyone to step up to him lyrically just before “Temporar...

“Black Vladimir” is One of Meyhem Lauren’s Best Albums to Date (Album Review)

This it the 5th full-length album from Queens emcee Meyhem Lauren . Coming up as the leader of the Smart Crew graffiti team. He eventually started rapping in the mid-2000s, it wouldn’t be until the 2010s decade that he saw success. Most notably with  Mandatory Brunch Meetings , the Buckwild produced  Silk Pyramids ,  Piatto D’oro  & of course the DJ Muggs produced  Gems from the Equinox . Last we heard from him was Juneteenth 2020 when he dropped the Harry Fraud -produced  Glass 2  & is now enlisting Daringer for  Black Vladimir . “Black Pinot” opens up the album with some dusty drums & plinky keys as Meyhem & Action Bronson charismatically flexing how smooth they both are whereas “Broken Rubberbands” keeps the piano boom bap vibes going talking about moving weight. “Airplane Mode” grimly detests those who claim to be on the same page leading into the dramatic “Conflict Resolution” talking about cops ducking the feds.  ...

Substance810 Kicks Off ”The Monolithic Era” (Album Review)

Substance810 is an MC/producer from Port Huron, Michigan who came up in ‘06 off his debut  The Definition  under his original moniker Tekneek. He’s since gone on to build up an impressive catalog for himself whether it be the sequel  The Definition Of… or the Hobgoblin -produced  The Hanging Gardens   & more recently the Chuck Chan -produced  Desolate Lands  this past spring. But with fall approaching, Substance has decided to recruit JQuest Beatz for his 11th album. After the “Exordium” intro, the first song “Don’t Bite the Hand” is an eerie opener basically advising to never act ungrateful towards him prior to ethemadassassin & K. Burns tagging along for the dusty “Monolithic” talking about being indivisible. “Triumphant” works in some horns describing his rise to prominence whereas “Ancient Sand” laces an entrancing vocal loop asking if you know the traces that make a man. Meanwhile on “Cross the Line”, we have P.U.R.E. tagging along...

Fatal Lucciauno "Gang Leaders" music video

Shot By:Javier Morin Jr Produced By: Kuddie Fresh & Intylekt Troy The youth are like hidden treasures ,because we keep burying them We lose so many beautiful lives due to misinformation and lack of knowledge. The war on Gangs isn’t a war on organized crime it’s a war on the youth. Those of us that know what’s really going on need to step up and remember violence is a bi-product of urban life in America so how can anyone think it would escape Gang/street organizations. If you wonder why we are necessary think of this…. the kid who was playing with a toy gun got murdered by the police while the sexual predator gets to drive the school bus. Gangs are the natural elevation of tribalism and poverty. The resilience of a collective tired of false hope and abuse. This one ain’t for the players it’s for the coaches. They love the hipsters but what about the Gang Leaders. 1Love 1Purpose Long Live King Cee

Barbara Eden born 23 August 1931

Barbara Eden (born, August 23, 1931) is an American actress, singer, and producer. Barbara Eden, born Barbara Jean Morehead in Tucson, Arizona, became one of America's most endearing and enduring actresses. A graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School in San Francisco, California, Eden would go on to study at San Francisco's City College as well as the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and the Elizabeth Holloway School of Theatre.  As Barbara Huffman, she was elected Miss San Francisco in 1951 and she also entered the Miss California pageant.  While her aspirations as a singer motivated her during her early years for a career in music, it was her starring role in the NBC TV comedy series, I Dream of Jeannie (1965) where Barbara Eden immediately gained international acclaim. Although most remembered for her role as "Jeannie", Barbara Eden has starred in more than 20 theatrical feature films and made-for-television films for at least four different movie studios: ...

Put Money On An Inmate's Books In The LA County Jail System

Send Deposit Now! Inmates who are detained in the Los Angeles County Jail system can call on JailHouse Lawyer to provide inmate commissary services for those experiencing trouble with the law. Acting with the innocent person in mind, we believe every American who is incarcerated should be afforded the basic simple rights as citizen. Putting money on an inmate's books will enable them to purchase their own hygiene products, put money on the phone to contact loved ones, and to purchase other necessities such as food and drink. Right now, at least in Los Angeles County, tha only way to put money on an inmate's commissary is to either go down to the Inmate Reception Center or mail-in a money order. But, tha reality is that with a county as expansive as Los Angeles, loved ones may struggle to physically go to the IRC to put money on their people's books. Furthermore, mailing a money order will take weeks to arrive; and even longer if the inmate is being moved around.  That's...

Rappers Who Flourish in Hip Hop Without The Black Audience

HEADS UP: this article speaks to race being tha basis of our point as we believe Black people to be tha pioneers and innovators of Hip Hop as a way of life, but not as an industry. Kendrick Lamar lost a Grammy to tha likes of Macklemore , a white rapper from tha 206 who, in my humble opinion, actually deserved to win. Macklemore himself even spoke out and said that he felt Kendrick deserved that award for his latest album at tha time. But, while Mack gave in to how everyone else was already feeling, what about tha people who genuinely felt otherwise? What about tha people who felt Macklemore won it outright? Well, I'm sure you could care less about hearing from one of those fans. But, with such a race disparity in Hip Hop today, we must ask...how are rappers flourishing in Hip Hop today without tha Black audience? It's kinda like Arby's, tha restaurant. (Figuratively speaking) Nobody you know eats there yet they remain seemingly strong with spread out locations and memor...

John Lee Hooker born 22 August 1917

John Lee Hooker (August 22, 1912 – June 21, 2001) was an American blues singer, songwriter, and guitarist.  Hooker's date of birth is a subject of debate; the years 1912, 1915, 1917, 1920, and 1923 have all been suggested. Most official sources list 1917, though at times Hooker stated he was born in 1920. Information found in the 1920 and 1930 censuses indicates that he was actually born in 1912. In the 1920 federal census, John Hooker is seven years old and one of nine children living with William and Minnie Hooker in Tutwiler, Mississippi.  It is believed that he was born in Tutwiler, in Tallahatchie County, although some sources say his birthplace was near Clarksdale, in Coahoma County. He was the youngest of the 11 children of William Hooker a sharecropper and Baptist preacher, and Minnie Ramsey. In 1921, their parents separated. The next year, their mother married William Moore, a blues singer, who provided John Lee with an introduction to the guitar (and whom he ...
