G4 Jag & IM’PERETIV Bring Grit and Symbolism to New Single “Circus” Ahead of Alive! Project

Rising hip-hop voices G4 Jag and producer IM’PERETIV return with Circus,” the third single from their highly anticipated collaborative project, Alive! This latest release features fellow Fly Family member L-Biz and packs a punch with thunderous production, razor-sharp bars, and a hook that pulls it all together with force.

On “Circus,” G4 Jag takes aim at the theatrical side of the rap industry—calling out the gimmicks, frauds, and flash-over-substance performers that dominate the spotlight. His message is clear: skill and authenticity still matter. The track builds on the momentum of earlier singles “Apple Pie” and “Stopped Chillan,” further defining the Alive! sound—raw, booming, and grounded in truth.

Adding a powerful visual layer to the single is Craig Dyer’s stunning cover art. A haunting scene unfolds: a clown, gun to his head, stands beneath the weight of chaos. An elephant balances precariously in the background, and overlooking it all is a masked figure—G4 Jag’s iconic plague mask persona—watching the madness unfold. It’s a dark, metaphor-rich reflection of the message behind the music.

“This rap shit like a circus, and we don't talk to the clowns.” – G4 Jag

With past collaborations like 222 featuring 448 Brad and On the Boards with Starz Coleman, G4 Jag and IM’PERETIV continue to build one of the most uncompromising catalogs in the underground. Alive! is shaping up to be their boldest, most focused project to date.
