Chuuwee & Khalisol - PassOver [Album Stream]

Sacramento MC, Chuuwee releases yet another album in his highly acclaimed 'Dystopia' series. As part 3 of 5, Chuuwee teams up with New Mexico's Khalisol, who produced the entire album. The sac-town artist states "It started out as just a joint project. We've actually been working on it for 3 years but then I started doing Dystopia. By the time I came back to review and listen to what we had so far and thought, this would've the perfect continuation from "Sabbath" - Released via Below System Records the album is titled "PassOver" being sequentially the next holiday after Sabbath, however in the storyline of the series, this is the breaking point. This is that moment when you feel as things can't get any worse and you're praying for them to just 'pass over.' Unfortunately in this series things only get worse... "Because It Was Valentine's Day" by H. Peter Ji (PHOTOGRAPHY)

"As part of the Downtown LA landmark series, while spending a late afternoon and an evening, I turned to one of my favorite sights - the water fountain at Grand Park with a view of the City Hall. I waited till the sunset glow started hitting the iconic building. Usually the lighting at this pretty water fountain intermittently changes in a few different colors, like blue, red and yellow. But it didn't change from magenta (or pink) that evening. Then, later as I was packing up, it dawned on me that it stayed magenta because it was Valentine's Day." - H. Peter Ji

Tacoma, WA Hip Hop Artist ReaLife talks New Music, Tours, and Business on WilsonBlock100 Radio

Snak The Ripper has returned in style with a new song called ''Lesson Learned''

Snak The Ripper has returned in style with a new song called ''Lesson Learned''. The music video was directed by Stuey Kubrick and the beat was produced by Vokab. The music video is dark and almost feels post-apocalyptic, showing the Ripper moving through an empty city at night by himself while looking as though he is reflecting deeply on past trials. The visuals are a great match for the musical vibe of the song. If you thought real hip hop is dead, he just proved you wrong. Look out for another new single from Snak The Ripper in two weeks, until then make sure to follow him!

Mario is Finally Getting His Own Movie!

Filmgoers and video gamers alike were surprised by the news about an upcoming Super Mario movie from Minions studio Illumination—and Nintendo recently explained how the collaboration came to be. Although the project was rumored for some time, it was late in January when Nintendo finally confirmed the news to their investors, and to the public through a tweet. Mario fans are sure to have purged the first attempt of a Super Mario Bros. movie out of their memories, with a 1993 live-action movie starring the late Bob Hoskins and John Leguizamo as Mario and Luigi, respectively. The failure of that bizarre feature, with a strange, underground dystopian Mushroom Kingdom being a far cry from the colorful, cartoony world of the video games, caused Nintendo to be protective of their intellectual property, disallowing other companies to make movies of their franchises since then. Now, Nintendo is ready to get back into the game (no pun intended), but with Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto taking an ...
