  The Southern California coastline is currently under threat as the National Weather Service warns the public about record high swells and tremendous wave energy. Orange County and Ventura County have been particularly affected, with flooding streets and businesses becoming common.  The impact of the massive waves was evident at Pierpont Beach in Ventura, where dozers and work crews are constructing a protective 6 to 8-foot high sand berm along the shore. This preventative measure aims to safeguard the beach and nearby buildings from potential damage caused by future rogue waves. Unfortunately, one such wave crashed onto the shore, resulting in several injuries and sending multiple people to the hospital. New York/Bay Area based MC producer UnLearn The World creates musical cinema, teaming up with a star studded lineup for his 6th album, “ The God That Sins ”.  Produced mainly by Philadelphia based producer Track Pros, TGTS includes features from Ghostface Killah, Benny The Butcher.   Cardi B took to Instagram to speak about country music surpassing rap music on the streaming platforms . Cardi pointed out that hip-hop is no longer dominating streaming platforms, which she says is due to people in middle America, who used to buy CDs, are now downloading songs from Digital Service Providers, or DSPs.  This comes after it was reported earlier this year that 2023 is the first year since 1993 that hip-hop has yet to yield a No 1 song or album in the first half of the year.
