Titled “star signs”, the track sees the 21-year-old artist returning to her signature sound, effortlessly weaving together strands of Dream Pop, Indie Pop, and Pop Rock into a moody, melodic embrace.

Released under AWAL, “star signs” is a sonic shift from the high-octane pulse of her previous release, yet no less powerful. This time, Liv Hanna leans into a slower, more reflective soundscape—one that captures the yearning of love during cuffing season. It’s a song for the romantics, the starry-eyed, and anyone who’s ever asked the universe to make someone stay.

“‘Star Signs’ is about craving that all-encompassing love and wanting it to be reciprocated,” Liv explains. “In the song, she’s imploring him to stay with her and love her unconditionally, and explaining how they are meant to be.” The clever metaphor of astrology becomes the backdrop for deeper emotional truths—exploring compatibility, fate, and the cosmic pull of connection.

Produced by Joe Lindsay and Flex, two longtime collaborators known for their cinematic approach to pop production, the track shimmers with subtle synths, ambient textures, and a gentle rhythm that gives Liv’s vocals plenty of room to breathe.
