Why Birthright Citizenship Is a Legislative Matter—Not Judicial or Executive

By Michael Taylor | ThaWilsonBlock Magazine The question of who qualifies for American citizenship is not just a moral or political debate — it is a constitutional one. For over a century, courts and executive agencies have applied birthright citizenship in a way that defies the intent of the 14th Amendment and undermines Congress’s constitutional authority. This practice, particularly as it applies to children born to undocumented immigrants, raises a serious challenge: > Can individuals derive irrevocable constitutional benefits from ongoing unlawful presence? And if not, why has the judiciary allowed it? This question strikes at the heart of the rule of law. The answer lies in decades of misinterpretation, judicial drift, and administrative neglect. The issue is not emotional. It is structural. And it belongs squarely with Congress, not the courts or the White House. --- 🔎 The 14th Amendment’s Soft Spot: Jurisdiction The 14th Amendment states: > “All persons born ...

Should A Born Again Christian Date A Non-Christian, Why Not?

One frequently asked question from young people who are seeking to start or build a  relationship with a partner is whether it is advisable to date a non-christian. Maybe they met a good guy or girl that they like and ticks all their boxes but wait, he or she not a Christian. “Does it really matter, can’t I just go ahead and date, then, hope and pray that they will become born-again Why can’t I date the non-Christian” they ask.

As a Born-again Christian, there are teachings in the word of God (The Bible) that our faith is built on. Some of these foundational truths are our core beliefs that we hold very dearly and when a Christian is in a relationship with someone who doesn’t belief these core truths, it may become a challenge.

One of such if not the most important of our core beliefs as Born-again Christians is; “Jesus is the son of God, He is the only way, truth and life, He died on the cross, rose on the third day, and ascended to Heaven.”

If your partner or someone you are dating doesn’t believe in this, believes in something contrary from another religion or believes in absolutely nothing, this may become a challenge. One or both parties would either feel like there’s a disconnect in their mutual faith/beliefs or one of them may always try to preach or convince the other of their faith and this may cause  differences or a divide. The possibilitiesare  endless when it comes to what could happen or arise from this scenario.

For a docile Christian, who isnt a student of the word it wouldn’t mean much. But for the Born-again Christian who is Holy Spirit filled, active in church, prays and preaches the word, this will be a challenge in the relationship. Also it will be a hindrance to the growth of the Christian in their walk with God because their partner isn’t inspiring or challenging them to grow or  become a better Christian. Prov 27:17

So, who should a Christian accept to be in a relationship with? The bibles says “Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? .. ” 2 Corinthians 6:14

When deciding on whom to date, look out for one who is a born-again Christian, believes what you believe, is willing to grow in faith with you, loves God and the things of God, love you unconditionally, willing to start a Godly relationship with you and someone who upholds christian values. Let this be your first compatibility check.

What do you think. Let us know your thoughts. Would you date someone who is not a Christian?
