Urban Renewal Project Collabs With Saturday AM For Exclusive Record Store Day Vinyl Release

For an exclusive Record Store Day release, the genre-bending collective Urban Renewal Project recruited Chicago spitter Vic Mensa for their single “Will To Survive.”

Combining jazz-infused underground hip hop with period instruments from the ancient Mediterranean, the 7-inch release comes packaged with an original 20-page manga chronicling the adventures of a young recruit from North Africa in the Roman Legion, illustrated by the team at Saturday AM.

Saturday AM is committed to bringing the essences of diversity in manga to the industry with an anthology that features dozens of creators, thousands of fans around the world, and 3 separate magazines – their flagship with over 130 issues out.
