Indio9 – “Watch My Back” Ft. Low, Red Cloud & Spyder Deuce (Single Review)

Indio9 from Socal releases a new single titled “Watch My Back” feat Low, Red Cloud & Spyder Deuce, I Loved the west coast vibe and how each artist held their own as the song progressed. This is for sure one of those tracks you can let all the windows down and create a vibe for the street, I can see these combination of artist on a EP or mixtape together in the future. The auto tune was a nice added touch that not only added sound depth but corresponding elements. At 1st glance the cover reminded me of J-Cole Sideline story I was anticipating some raw music vibes and that’s just what I got.

The 1st artist begins with a raspy gritty type vibe that brings back to Ol dirty bastard days in the wu tang clan, its the uniqueness and character persona that keeps the listener engaged the whole time. The 2nd artist was more so mello and melodic creating a perfect bridge over into the hook. The 3rd verse was hot with a mixture of previous elements and a unique flow style I can see a visual for this song if done right to thrive in different music video channels as of Mtv2 Bet Etc.

I remember Spyder Deuce from his recent visual “Say No Mo” and now working with rising artist Indio9 the young artist has been busy towards the end of the year moving his name and projects to the next level. I look forward to hearing more music from these individuals together or individual as they all have unique perceptions that need to be heard. Watch my back is forsure a west coast banger for the radio stay up to date with the so cal artist Indio9 by following his social media accounts and Spotify for new music & updates.
